24 Hour Emergency Food Supply

This is an emergency food tablet that has been in use since World War II, and still is unsurpassed as a backup food or a diet supplement for people on the go. We have replaced the military tin container with a more versatile arrangement – two airtight plastic tubes with attached caps, each containing seven food tablets (14 tablets in all) – enough to sustain an active person for 24 hours or more.

The tablets are sealed in a re-closeable plastic baggie as additional insurance against moisture, and to eliminate any annoying rattling.

These tablets are the real deal. Eaten over a period of 24 hours, the contents of the two tubes will provide 100% of the minimum daily adult requirement of Vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, D, and E, plus 100% MDR of Iron, Niacin, Folic Acid, Iodine, Zinc and Manganese. 3-4 tablets will substitute for a meal, and they can be eaten with other foods as a nutritional supplement.

These tablets are being used by some of our combat troops in the Middle East, and they have provided backup food for hunters, hikers, and commuters stuck in rush hour traffic. They have a shelf life on 7-10 years, so you can stow the tubes in your pack or glove box, and forget about it until you need them. Each tube is 3-3/8” tall and 1-1/4” across – small enough to carry in a pocket or store almost anywhere in your gear.
